These tough times have many worried about their financial security for both present and future.  As stocks plummit and companies cut back on everything, people are wondering is there any good in all of this?  and the answer is yes.  Small business owners will see some benefits in the future months and here are a few reasons why.

Small businesses now have better relationships with their banks because they are the only institutions surviving in this downfall of the economy, and they have actual assets.

Forget about stocks, small business owners invest their money in their own businesses.. enough said for this one.

Small business owners have the ability to change their prices to keep up with the price of their raw materials and inflation, a usefull advantage in maintaining profitability.

The final advantage for a small business owner is while property values are down, now is the time to look for potential bargains in the market.  If you’re a small business owner that is doing relatively well despite the economy, now may be your opportunity to buy that dream home, or even splurge on a nice car.
